Changes in the EU Novel Food Status Catalogue

Uncategorized @en-de

On November 16, 2023, the European Commission published a revised version of the EU Novel Food status Catalogue.

This revision changes the way to present information about Novel Foods. It aims to simplify the search and review of status by the user. There are now 5 possible states instead of 4.

It is important to note that the Novel Food Catalogue is a non-binding tool and is fed with information provided by EU Member States. The Commission updates the catalogue as EU countries submit new information.
