Dietary supplements, food supplements - all-inclusive service

Dietary supplements are concentrated sources of nutrients (i.e. mineral and vitamins) or other substances with a nutritional or physiological effect that are marketed in “dose” form and intended to correct nutritional deficiencies, maintain an adequate intake of certain nutrients, or support specific physiological functions.

Supplements do not have curative properties, but they can support the human health by optimizing the nutritional status or contributing to well-being by providing nutrients and substances with physiological activity for the normal development and maintenance of good health in the body. There are many types of supplements on the market, varying according to need. The main substances include milk enzymes, mineral salts, vitamins, fatty acids, proteins, plant extracts and fibres.

Consumers worldwide are turning to dietary supplements and food supplements as one part of their personal goal to lead healthier and more active lives. With increasing number of consumers focused on improving their health regime, the demand for vitamins and supplements is on a rise.
