The first edition of Mérieux NutriSciences Blue Paper, entitled “European Food Safety Trends, Key Issues & Perspectives”.

Starting from Consumer perspective and ending with future challenges, you will find key information through infographics on:

Second edition of our Blue Paper on ‘European Food Safety Trends, Key issues & Perspectives’.

Fourth edition of our Blue Paper on ‘European Food Safety Trends, Key issues & Perspectives’.

This 4th edition provides an update of the content of Blue Paper 2019, as well as new focuses on key topics:

• Chlorate & Perchlorate,
• Mineral oil hydrocarbons (MOSH-MOAH),
• Parasites,
• Food Supplements (Dietary Supplements).

Specific data on Food Fraud cases, in Europe and in the World, have been added as well as new sources to enrich the last section on upcoming ‘hot topics’.

Starting this edition, we have been using Safety HUD, a Mérieux NutriSciences solution, to harmonize the content of the Blue Paper.

Fifth edition of our Blue Paper on ‘European Food Safety Trends, Key issues & Perspectives’.

2020 will be remembered as the “Covid-19 year”. Although the SARS-CoV-2 is clearly not considered as a food safety hazard, the Covid-19 pandemic acts as an accelerator of deep food safety, quality and sustainability trends. A comprehensive and responsible approach from farm to fork is clearly identified as a need for food security and quality, but also for the society and planet health.
